There are many things to do at Yellowstone National Park, but we will only list a few of them below.
Spring/Summer Activities
One thing that you can do at Yellowstone National Park is go horseback riding. The horseback riding sessions are from one hour to two hours long and are located at Tower-Roosevelt and Canyon. This attraction can allow you to enjoy the experience of a Montana cowboy through trails, and learn tips from the pros, whether you are a beginning or an advanced rider.
Another Attraction that is available is the Llama packing. Llama packing through Yellowstone allows you to enjoy a hike on trails while you guide a Llama along with you, and the Llamas can carry everything you have!!!!!
Another really fun activity you can do at the park is paddling/rafting. You can choose between an 8 mile float down the Yellowstone River, or an exciting rafting experience that is 18 miles long down the river. If you are feeling very adventurous you can participate in the overnight trip!
You could also enjoy some relaxing fishing at Yellowstone Lake. You could have the opportunity to catch "Yellowstone cutthroat, brown trout, rainbow trout and brook trout larger than most anglers can imagine. On the way to Yellowstone, stop at Carbon County to fish the Miracle Mile or at Casper, the #1 Big Fish destination."
Fall/Winter Activities
One of the things you can do is taking a sleigh ride through Elk herd through an Elk sanctuary at Yellowstone. You take a journey through Elk herd in a Horse drawn sleigh.
Another thing you can do is cross country skiing. "Two popular trips: the Biscuit Basin Trail, which snakes through Old Faithful geyser basin, and Blacktail Plateau Trail, a challenging route on the summer Blacktail Plateau Drive."
If you are feeling for a downhill adventure, you can go downhill skiing and snowboarding at the resorts at Yellowstone. "Options include Jackson Hole Mountain Resort near Jackson, Wyoming; Grand Targhee Resort on the west side of the Tetons near Alta, Wyoming; and Big Sky Resort in Big Sky, Montana."
If you are feeling a little daring, you can take a dip in one of the hot springs. There is even a hot spring in Fairmont Hot Springs Resort that is open 24 hours and even features a waterslide!
